Sarah joined RDDHI as an Associate Attorney in July 2021. Prior to joining RDDHI, Sarah worked at a boutique law firm representing crime victims and survivors of abusive acts. From 2017 to 2019, Sarah was an Equal Justice Works fellow and staff attorney at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM), representing low-income veterans and their household members in housing, consumer protection, family, transactional, public benefits, and other cases. During her time at LSEM, Sarah successfully co-counseled and argued a termination of parental rights appeal before the Missouri Court of Appeals, In the Matter of A.R.V. and D.M.V., 561 S.W.3d 817 (Mo. App. E.D. 2018).
While in law school, Sarah participated in the Civil Rights, Community Justice, and Mediation Legal Clinic and the Children’s Rights Clinic. Sarah also served as an Associate Notes Editor for the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. Between college and law school, Sarah worked at the American Constitution Society, a national legal organization which inspired her to pursue her legal education and career.
Sarah loves cooking (especially Italian comfort food), exercising at Orangetheory Fitness, and spending time with her retired working dog, Camden.
